Bentofix NSP 4900-1
Bentofix BFG 4900 is designed for use in large applications such as reservoirs. It has additional bentonite impregnated into a 50cm overlap area so installation consists simply of unrolling and overlapping with no further manual involvement.
Bentofix consists of a layer of sodium bentonite held between two geotextile layers. The layers are mechanically bonded together using a patented needle punching process. The active sealing component is natural sodium bentonite that, when hydrated and constrained, expands to form an impermeable layer with virtually unlimited life. The reinforcement layers ensure that it retains its integrity during laying and overfilling.
