Gas Membranes

CMS offers a wide choice of gas protection solutions including loose laid and self adhesive gas proof membranes, as well as a range of venting systems that prevent the build up of hazardous gases beneath structures.

GRA- Methane Barrier
This loose laid membrane is extremely versatile in its application and when used in conjunction with matching GRA damp-proof courses, ensures the integrity of a gas proof layer throughout a building.

Radon Barrier
This is an unreinforced polyethylene membrane, suitable for use in the protection of buildings from the ingress of Radon gas.

C02 Barrier
A high quality and robust polyethylene membrane that is resistant to puncturing and has a low permeability to carbon dioxide. This product can also act as a damp proofing membrane.

Gastite – Self Adhesive
This gas proof membrane is a high performance product which provides an effective barrier within the floor, or in basement construction, from gases such as methane, carbon dioxide and other radon gases. GasSeal consists of a layer of polyolefin laminated to aluminium foil, which is then coated by a layer of rubberised bitumen adhesive composition.
