Tanks and Separators

CMS provides a comprehensive range of products designed to deliver effective means and methods of disposing with effluent. All of our products are quality assured, and both meet and exceed the stringent requirements of regulatory authorities in the UK.

Septic Tanks
The range of septic tanks available offers a high level of quality, built to designs that prove both robust and easy to install. Manufactured to tough BS EN ISO 9002 Quality Assurance standards, these septic tanks are accepted by the British Board of Agrement and building control authorities. Whether from capacities of 2,800 litres to 55,000 litres, the septic tanks provide a safe, clean and efficient method of collecting and dispersing effluent.

Cess Pools
In conditions where septic tanks are unsuitable such as wet sites, CMS can provide an established range of watertight cess pools manaufactured in Glass Reinforced Plastic, vacuum tested before delivery, and built to high BS EN ISO 9002 standards.

With capacities ranging from 2,800 litres to 55,000 litres, and the ability to link up the cess pool units for greater overall capacities, all these features add up to a cost  effective solution to difficult drainage problems.

CMS Sewage Treatment Plant
For situations where a standard septic tank or cess pool do not meet the higher levels of septic effluent removal, the CMS Treatment plants can offer a safe, low maintenance solution.

Designed with no electrical or mechanical components within the plant, the units can be installed below ground, reducing visual impact on the land and operating noise, while the hydraulic surge control ensures low running costs. The treatment plants are designed and built to the highest standards, and can provide service for a population of upto 375 people.

Petrol/Oil Separators
For sites where the risk of a heavy oil or petrol spillage and large rainfall is small, Bypass Separators in drainage systems around car parks or light commercial areas are ideal for the separation of water and other chemical liquids.

This comprehensive range is light and easy to install, built to BSI standards, and independently tested for performance.

For areas of higher spillage risk, such as a fuel distribution centre or vehicle workshop, a Full Retention Separator is required.

Each product design includes the necessary volume requirements for oil separation and subsequent oil storage with the tanks.
